Offered here is one of the rarest Grateful Dead posters every produced from 1967. San Francisco's KQED hosted a broadcast called "Video Sutra" which featured the Grateful Dead, Andy Warhol, Allen Ginsberg and Michael McClure. To my knowledge this is the only time the Grateful Dead and Andy Warhol appear together on the same poster. This image was printed 3 ways, as a large silkscreen poster measuring 14 x 22", a handbill measuring 7x11", and a smaller flyer measuring 4.25 x 5.5 - this listing is for the large 14x22' poster, printed on thick white poster board. Whether you collect Grateful Dead, Warhol or San Francisco "Summer of Love" ephemera, this piece is a gem AND as rare as it gets! This popster is almost mint with just a small edge bump on the bottom, the poster board is still bright white and nearly perfect. It's not known how many were printed but I would guess less than 100 with very few surviving today, especially in top shape like this example. To my knowledge it has been several years since one of these has come to market.
