Grateful Dead 1970's/80's vintage belt buckle rare Bob Epstein Signed/ numbered

  

Here is a rare Grateful Dead buckle. This item is for a serious collector or a real GD enthusiast!

I did some research on Bob Epstein buckles and found that most of the vintage buckles from the 80's were casted and mass produced with the signature and his company name Pan Galactic Skulpture. Those have the the swiveled arm that the strap attaches to. This one clearly dates before those were licensed through the company LimitDead. As you can see in the picture of the back he hand signed his name, company, and register mark and even better it's been numbered(233).

This was was done by hand not mass produced. I have only found one other like this my research so my guess is this is from the late70's early 80's. If you have any questions or further info about this item feel free to contact me. Fits a strap/belt of 1 3/8.
